I’m not an expert yogi, but I have found a daily yoga practice does wonders for both my physical and mental health. I was first exposed to yoga in college when the p90x workouts were popular, as the video series included a yoga session that became my favorite workout of the series. Though I have enjoyed going to yoga studios for actual classes, I think this introduction to yoga set the tone for me being more of an at-home yoga practitioner.
I’m not exactly sure when I discovered Yoga with Adriene on YouTube. I think my roomate brought her to my attention back when I lived in Austin but I am not 100% sure it has been so long at this point. As of right now her videos don’t just account for part of my yoga practice, but all of it. She has a ton of different videos of varying skill levels, from the shortest and easiest to the longer, more difficult workouts bordering on an hour.
She actually has so many good videos I resolved to make a YouTube playlist of my very favorite practices – that playlist is now 39 videos deep. You can access it here:
